Mission and Vision

The mission of the AIM Center for Excellence of The University of Texas at Dallas' School of Management is to be an innovative leader in advancing knowledge at the frontiers of accounting and information management, to facilitate research to generate knowledge, and to provide a forum for the dissemination of that knowledge to professionals who can integrate it into private and not-for-profit management activities.

Vision

The vision of the AIM Center for Excellence of The University of Texas at Dallas' School of Management is to provide the milieu in which accounting and information management knowledge is exchanged. The Center will be recognized by academicians and practitioners for its excellence in research advancing frontiers of knowledge in accounting and information management. The Center will also facilitate communication of knowledge through activities such as research projects, executive and other educational programs for management, government and technical professionals, instructional courses for professional examinations, and training programs for instructional staff in accounting and information management at local high schools and community colleges.
