Ron Nash, Distinguished Alumni 2000
Management and administrative sciences graduate Ron Nash helped found the UTD Alumni Association in 1983. The commitment and effort he still gives The School of Management hasn't been limited by distance. Currently a partner at InterWest Partners - he continues to serve as chairman-elect of the School of Management Advisory Council and Chairman of the School of Management new building fund raising committee.
Personable and intelligent, Mr. Nash has maintained continuous contact with the School throughout his highly successful career. Mr. Nash worked for EDS for six years before moving on to re-engineer a publicly held telecommunications company. Perot Systems became his employer in 1993, and he has served in several leadership positions in operations and sales, and most recently as Vice President of European operations in London. Mr. Nash lists among his notable accomplishments creating the systems integration business at Perot Systems and building that company's business in Europe.
