Degrees

Adult students in class Our executive degree programs are powerful. Each program is intended to transform the participant into a more effective manager or executive. Programs have carefully designed for a purpose and are delivered by faculty members carefully chosen for expert knowledge, teaching ability and current standing in research practice or both. Each program has a format that is effective.

The Executive MBA program is intended for those managers who seek a transformational program emphasizing executive perspectives and individual development. This program has been recently ranked by Financial Times as the best in the North Texas region and among the top 25 in the country. Classes meet three days per month and there are two Executive Workshops.

The Global Leadership Executive MBA program is intended for those who seek a more intensive preparation for a global-focused career and for those who cannot commit to campus-based classes. The program is delivered in a blended on campus-online format and takes 23 months to complete: GLEMBA, as it is known, has consistently been ranked one of the “Best of the Web” by Forbes magazine and one of the best 25 online programs in the world by Financial Times.

The Project Management Executive MBA is one of the five programs in the world accredited by the Project Management Institute. Its strength is the linking of strategic and business perspectives to program and project execution. This program, with an integrated core, attracts participants who either come three days a month for a 36 month sequence or who enroll in an on-line program that has identical structural content and is taught by the same faculty as the campus version. The latter was recently ranked by Financial Times as one the best 25 online programs in the world.  “The Master of Science with a Management Concentration” is also available. It contains the heart of the MBA program, but not its breadth.

The Master of Science in Health Care Management is jointly taught in alliance with the UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. It is intended for senior physicians and clinical health-care administrators. The format is based on four day seminars offered every two months. All courses in the program relate to Medical Management. The Health Care Management Executive MBA includes a follow on program after the MS. It is offered both on-line and in classroom version.
