Galaxy:
For Online Student Information Access, please login to Galaxy http://galaxy.utdallas.edu/cp/home/loginf. Here you can view your schedule, access courses, view grades, pay tuition, view account payment summary, view an unofficial transcript, access UTD email, and more.
Course Textbooks and Materials:
Textbooks and course materials can be ordered online at http://direct.mbsbooks.com/utd.htm. They are also available at the UTD Bookstore and Off-Campus Books.

Online Library Resources:
UTD McDermott Library electronic databases are available to online students. Flash-based tutorials on these databases are available. Please see the library's Distance Learning page for more information. Some instructors may reserve reading materials in the Electronic Reserves at the library.
WebCT:
Most Global MBA Online courses are developed and delivered using WebCT. We currently use WebCT version CE6. For more WebCT information and learning resources, visit the WebCT Home Page. Some helpful resources for students can be found at: https://behind.blackboard.com/s/student/.
Proctored Examination:
Some Global MBA online courses require a proctored final examination. Please find the detailed instructions, procedures and a downloadable exam form at the Proctored Exam Information page.
Web Conferencing:
A web conferencing tool - Elluminate Live! is available for real time communication and interaction in online courses. This powerful tool combines a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), application with desktop sharing, instant messaging, and whiteboard functionality to create a powerful, easy-to-use, collaborative learning environment. For more information about the tool, visit the Elluminate website at http://www.elluminate.com/index.jsp. To schedule a group meeting for an online class, please send a request one week in advance to gmbasupport@utdallas.edu. Be sure to include the course name, meeting date, time, duration and number of participants.

Software Purchase and Downloads:
The UT Systems has an agreement with Microsoft in which students may purchase Microsoft Software at a nominal cost. Software CDs are available for purchase at the UTD Technology Store. Distance students may download a faxable order form at: "MSOrder Form" (a PDF file to be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader). Proof of enrollment (i.e. copy of student ID card ) and identification (i.e. copy of Driver's License) are required for ordering. If you don't have a student ID card, you may submit a copy of a fee slip, or use the print-outs of your Account Payment Summary page from Galaxy. Please contact HiEd with any questions regarding shipping orders at: 972-437-3747.
There are some software tools (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader, McAfee, and WinZip) available for UTD users to download. These may be accessed within the UTD local domain (on campus) at: http://www.utdallas.edu/ir/local/ if off campus log on to the secure downloads page at https://netid.utdallas.edu/download/login.
Financial Aid:
