Is the GMAT required of all applicants?
The GMAT is requirement of all applications to the Global MBA Online degree program, regardless of work experience, unless applicant holds a JD or PhD, or has taken the GRE for graduate work in the previous 6 years. UTD does not have a minimum GMAT requirement as admission is based on a portfolio of inputs. The School of Management is looking for a "competitive" score. In 2004, the average GMAT submitted by MBA candidates was 570.
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) offers the latest version of Test Preparation for the GMAT at no charge. The software includes previously administered GMAT questions and two GMAT computer-adaptive tests driven by the software application used for the actual exam. The software is available for download from www.gmac.com. More information on taking GMAT is also available at this site.
When are the application deadlines?
| Priority Processing Deadlines: | US Residents | International Applicants |

| Spring Semester | November 1 | September 1 |
| Summer Semester | April 1 | March 1 |
NOTE: Your application is not complete until ALL of the required materials (including appropriate application fee) are received. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
What is the tuition for the Global MBA Online?
Total tuition and fees depends on several factors, including how many classes you take each semester, whether or not you take summer courses, changing tuition rates, etc. Below is information based on Fall 2007 tuition rates.
A GMBA student can complete the program in nine semesters, including summers (i.e. beginning Fall 2005 and graduating Summer 2008). These students typically take two courses each semester, except for the semester in which the student enrolls in AIM 6201 (1st 8-weeks course), AIM 6202 (2nd 8-weeks course), and an additional GMBA (full semester) course. Some courses are three credit hours, and some are two credit hours. With this in mind, below are some semester pricing estimates.
