This day and a half program presents a simple, straightforward, logical structure for quickly organizing your thoughts about the essentials of finance and accounting and for making effective decisions for your business. We will present and discuss
- Who accountants/financial people are, how they're organized, and what they do;
- The four basic financial statements-income statement, balance sheet, retained earnings statement, and cash flow-line by line, all questions answered;
- The accounting process-how financial statements are created;
- A simple, logical diagnostic process you can use to assess the situation of your company quickly and effectively, and
- How to use your diagnosis to make basic business decisions: extending credit, borrowing money, valuing a business, buying a company, and improving operations and business results.
