Tuition and Financial Aid

The Executive MBA program offers you tremendous benefits in terms of enhanced job effectiveness, greater income potential, and career advancement. Plus, the program is an outstanding value! Our tuition is significantly less than equivalent programs in the Metroplex.

Tuition

The total cost of the Executive MBA program for the class starting in August 2009 is $75,000 (subject to change for 2010). This is an all-inclusive cost and covers:

  • tuition
  • your own executive coach
  • books
  • parking permits
  • both international trips (except incidentals)
  • meals on class days
  • Center of Excellence workshops

The cost is paid in five equal installments with one installment due prior to the start of each semester. The due dates are:

  • Semester 1: August 15
  • Semester 2: December 15
  • Semester 3: April 15
  • Semester 4: August 15
  • Semester 5: December 15

Application Fee

$1300 application fee/deposit must be submitted with application forms.

The $1300 will be applied as follows:

  • $300 Non-refundable application fee
  • $1000 Deposit to hold your seat in the class and credited toward tuition; if you are admitted to the program or
  • $1000 Deposit, non-refundable; if you are admitted to the program and decline to attend or
  • $1000 Deposit refunded; if you are not admitted to the program.

Financial Aid

Executive MBA students needing assistance with funding tuition may apply for long-term student loans.  More information is available via the UTD Financial Aid Office website at: http://financial-aid.utdallas.edu/ or by contacting the Executive Education Financial Services Manager, Paula Baxter at: paula.baxter@utdallas.edu or 972-883-4114.

Most students borrow through the Federal Student Loan Programs (Stafford and Graduate Plus).  The Federal Stafford Loan maximum academic year limit is $20,500.  The Graduate Plus Loan is limited to the cost of attendance minus other financial aid.  More information regarding the Federal Student Loan Programs for graduate students can be found at the Federal Student Loan Programs website.

EMBA Council

The UT Dallas EMBA program is a member of the Executive MBA Council. Membership in the council is open to educational institutions offering or involved with Executive MBA programs with a combination of the following characteristics: A general management education for experienced managers and professionals who may be sponsored financially and through release time by their employing organizations, have several years of significant post-baccalaureate career experience and continue to work full time while enrolled. Such programs often include a cohort class structure and offer a lock-step, planned curriculum in a residence setting.
