Prerequisites
Prerequisite knowledge in calculus and competence in personal computing are requirements for the program. A deficiency in calculus may be remedied by taking MATH 5304 (Applied Mathematical Analysis for Non Majors I), or MATH 1325 (with a B or better). Competence in personal computing may be demonstrated by completing BA 3351 with a grade of B or better, or by completing an equivalent course at another university with a grade of B or better. Deficiencies must be remedied within the first twelve hours of graduate work. Degree credit is not earned for program prerequisites.
Basic Business Core
All students enrolling in the Master of Science in Management & Administrative Sciences with a concentration in Organizations and Strategy must complete the following Basic Business Core. Please see the catalog for prerequisite information.
- AIM 6201 Financial Accounting
- MECO 6303 Business Economics (prerequisite- MATH 5304)
- MIS 6204 It and MIS Fundamentals
- OPRE 6301 Quantitative Methods for Business Decision Making (prerequisite- MATH 5304)
Required Concentration and Elective Courses
Students enrolling in the MS-MAS program with a concentration in Organizations and Strategy will need to complete the
required concentration and elective courses necessary to finish the requirements of the concentration. Please see
