Airports

Two major airports serve the Dallas area:
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is in Irving, Texas, and is where nonstop flights from all but a few states will land. Love Field, in Dallas, is served by Southwest Airlines and to a lesser extent other airlines, and is used mostly by those flying in from Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana or Kansas City.

 Attendees must arrange their own transport from the airport via rental car, taxi or shuttle bus.

Ground Transportation

The most commonly used shuttle service in the Dallas area is Super Shuttle:

Many other limo and shuttle transport options are available.

The Doubletree Dallas/Richardson is the official hotel for the conference. When booking reservations, please use code PMBA16 or tell them you are with the PMBA conference at UT Dallas. Complimentary, daily transportation via shuttle van will be provided from the hotel to the campus, about one mile away.  The Radisson rate for this conference is $89 per night and includes a full breakfast.

Many other fine hotels are near the UT Dallas campus. Please be advised, however, that rush-hour traffic in this area can be worrisome, and taking surface roads, if highways become jammed, can add stress and minutes to your travel. We would suggest, for both simplicity and in order to be with compatriots from the conference, that you strongly consider staying at the Radisson Hotel.
