Organizations, Strategy and International Management, Academic Area
The OSIM (Organizations, Strategy and International Management) area is a multidisciplinary group of management scholars engaged in teaching and cutting-edge research activities. Research includes topics such as:
- Options theory
- Strategic alliances
- Cross-cultural management
- Diversity
- Social network theory
Our faculty has published in leading journals including: Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Harvard Business Review, and Strategic Management Journal.
The OSIM area has an active Ph.D. program with concentrations in strategy, organization behavior/organization theory, and international management. In addition, the area offers a variety of elective courses for the MBA courses that reflect the challenges of managing in a dynamic, global environment.
