"Positioning Women for Corporate Boards" is a three day residential program featuring experts who will share real-life insights on leadership.

Criteria for Selection

Positioning women for roles as directors of public corporations necessitates a competitive selection process. Participants should:

  • Be responsible for a major enterprise or major function of an organization, profit or non-profit
  • Be able to demonstrate a current position in senior leadership
  • Be able to demonstrate a current position of leadership in an entrepreneurial organization
  • Demonstrate the experience and qualities public boards of directors seek in the director screening process

Timing/Cost

The cost of the executive seminar is $3,500 which includes program materials, lodging (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights) and meals.

The program begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008, and runs through 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Transportation is provided from the hotel to campus and back each day.

Seminars will will be held in the Executive Education Center of The School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas. Accommodations are at the Renaissance Hotel, located at 900 E. Lookout Dr. directly across from the Eisemann Center on US 75 and approximately one mile from campus.
