About the Conference
Suresh P.
Sethi, Ashbel Smith Professor and Director of the Center of
Intelligent Supply Networks in the School of Management
at the University of
Texas at Dallas (UTD), has made fundamental contributions in the
fields of operations management, finance and economics, marketing,
industrial engineering, operations research, and optimal control.
In view of his profound influence in the operations research and optimal control communities and his service to the profession, we organize this international conference in honor of Suresh Sethi. The conference will cover a wide range of topics including those listed below. Friends, colleagues, classmates, students, postdoctoral fellows, and teachers of Suresh Sethi are cordially invited to participate.
Professor Harry M. Markowitz, 1990 Nobel Laureate in Economics will deliver the keynote address on Sunday May 21st from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
