Q: Do I have to take non-business courses to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting?

A: Yes, students are required to take courses outside the School of Management in order to broaden their educational experience in preparation for leadership roles as professionals and/or managers in the modern business organization.  See UTD Online Catalog for specific degree requirements.

Q: In what campus building is The School of Management housed?

A:  Since August 21, 2003, the School of Management, largest of UTD's seven schools, has been located in a new 204,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, $38-million building. See the building labeled "SOM" on the Campus Map.
