School of Management

The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management is the largest of UT Dallas’ seven schools, with over 10,000 students, almost half of whom are graduate students.

The school provides outstanding tuition value, a wide variety of classes on campus and online, flexible scheduling and a convenient location easily accessed from U.S. Highway 75 (Central Expressway), the President George Bush Turnpike and Dallas North Tollway.

Academic Areas

The Jindal School of Management keeps abreast of corporate and industry needs as an essential component in providing students with rigorous training and relevant skills for professional success. Programs are offered at the bachelor’s, master’s, PhD and Executive levels. Programs focus on six areas of business specialization:

Opportunities Beyond the Classroom

A broad array of internship and scholarship opportunities is made available to the Jindal School students each academic year.

The school operates its own Career Management Center, which students and alumni may use in addition to the campus-wide UT Dallas Career Center.

Student Involvement

More than 60 student organizations are based in the school. Most of these focus on career development in specific fields and build networking, internship and employment opportunities.

U.S. News & World Report ranks the school’s Full-Time MBA program at No. 10 among public university programs tied for No. 27 overall in the United States.

In the same ranking, the publication places the Part-Time Professional MBA (PMBA) program at No. 11 (tied) in the nation and No. 5 (tied) among public university programs in the U.S.

Degree Programs

Whether you’re a prospective undergraduate who’s interested in business, a mid- to senior-level executive, or a future researcher — Jindal School is the right place for you.

The Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas offers nine Bachelor of Science degree programs (all requiring 120 semester credit hours) and prepares students for the world of business and best practices. These nine Bachelor of Science programs are listed in the left and top navigation menus.

The Naveen Jindal School of Management offers many innovative MS programs for individuals seeking to enhance their careers. Our MS programs represent an outstanding educational value, offering a private school setting and class sizes at state university prices. Since most master’s students at UT Dallas already are fully employed, classes are offered in the evening to accommodate work schedules.

The Full-Time MBA is a full-time experience that will allow you time to really research what you want to do and engage in that world with companies, alumni, and faculty. The Professional MBA formats make an MBA possible for everyone, regardless of your work schedule, family commitments, or previous degree. The Executive MBA is designed for people with professional business experience, and similarly the Global Leadership MBA is designed for working professionals and can be completed online.

The mission of the business PhD programs at the Naveen Jindal School of Management in International Management Studies and Management Science is to deliver the most advanced education in such areas of specialization. Both programs develop strong research and scholarly skills in their students and place graduates in academic, research and industry positions.

The DBA combines the application focus of an EMBA program with the advanced research focus of a Ph.D. program. In this program, participants study and apply advanced research methodologies and analytic techniques to complex business problems.

Master the knowledge, skills and tools required to lead in our increasingly competitive global economy. Executive Education at UT Dallas has the faculty expertise to help you become a global leader in business management, leadership education, and executive development.

The Jindal School offers certificates through its master’s degree programs, executive education programs and centers and institutes. Certificates are available in two formats, Academic and Professional (non-credit). Students with a university degree may pursue academic certificates for academic credit, and students with or without a college degree may pursue non-credit professional certificates.

She says she is proud her work will impact families and businesses now “and last … on into the following generations.” She was recently selected as one of 60 representatives nationwide to attend a special fast-track program for young advisers in Milwaukee. While there, she took part in the challenge course.

In his current position, Jones manages a Class A commercial real estate portfolio for Crescent, which acquires, develops and operates high-end properties alongside an exclusive group of investors and high-net-worth clients. Crescent currently has $3.5 billion in assets in its portfolio. Jones said his education at Jindal School has opened a lot of doors for him. “I don’t think I’m smarter than I was, but it helped me in my ability to creatively problem solve, navigate multiple fields of expertise and remain confident in a rapidly evolving business environment,” he said. He earned three degrees at the Jindal School – a BS in Business Administration, an MS in Supply Chain Management and an MBA.
